Mis-use of drugs and alcohol by employees has a negative effect on their performance at work. Many companies have policies to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of their employees.
AXA ICAS can give medical advice on developing and implementing a Drug and Alcohol policy.

An element of this policy may be workplace drug testing. The taking and processing of samples requires a high legal standard in the 'chain of custody' of the sample. We only use laboratories which have demonstrated the required standard for testing.

AXA ICAS can also help develop other policies where health and work interact including attendance policies and dealing with hazards in the workplace such as a hearing conservation policy for noisy environments.
