What is EAPconnect™?

EAPconnect™ is a confidential 24/7 service which provides your clients and their employees with free access to a range of specialist support and information.

The core components of EAPconnect™ are:

  • Managerial Coaching (support for Managers)
    This service is designed to support and reinforce people management skills, offering the opportunity for your senior staff to make quick referral into the EAP to support apparent problems, which they can see are beginning to impact on work performance or has already led to absence. The manager will also receive coaching if required, empowering them as a manager.

  • Telephone Support
    Employees and family members gain direct, unlimited and confidential freephone access, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to a team of highly qualified professional counsellors.

  • Face to Face Support
    Delivered by our national Affiliate Network, comprising over 750 clinicians, three sessions of face to face counselling are available per case. EAP Counselling is a short-term solution focused model, empowering individuals to take control of their situation.

  • LifeManagement™
    LifeManagement™ is delivered by AXA ICAS' own employees allowing speedy access to a team of research specialists from a range of professional disciplines who can support and guide on a wide variety of work/life subjects.

  • Online Therapy
    Beating the Blues™ is a computerised cognitive beavioural therapy (CCBT) programme for people with mild to moderate depression and is the only product recommended by National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE).

    This forms part of the face to face service, delivered off-site, for those individuals assessed as having suffered a trauma.

Integral to EAPconnect™ is a range of materials which allow you to promote the service within your organisation. All materials are CD-ROM based and include posters, deskdrops and en employee leaflet. You also receive bi-annual utilisation reports which can help you identify trends and behavioural risks to your organisation.
