ISO 9001:2000

In March 2006 ICAS was awarded ISO 9001:2000, the internationally recognised standard for an organisation's internal quality management system. The accreditation strengthens customer focus in the employee assistance and wellbeing area of the organisation and helps to manage change in a fast-paced industry.

As part of the ongoing AXA ICAS integration, we are reviewing the occupational health and sickness absence management services of the new company, with a view to adding those areas of the business to the ISO 9001:2000 accreditation.

Investors in People (IIP)

ICAS’ Investors In People accreditation was renewed in 2007, further underpinning the internal values of the employee assistace and wellbeing part of the business.

Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA)

ICAS was a founding member, which has enabled us to contribute vastly to the evolution and 'fit' of the EAP within the UK culture.

British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

Independent Counselling & Advisory Services Limited is an organisational member as well as the majority of our employed counsellors and affiliates holding individual accreditation status. It offers an assurance of high professional quality standards and ethics.

United Kingdom Register of Counsellors (UKRC)

Independent Counselling & Advisory Services is a Registered sponsoring organisation to sponsor its counsellors onto the register. It offers further quality assurance with regards to professional practice of our counsellors.
